The 269ft Oceanco superyacht has been listed for sale via brokerage firm Edminston & Co for ($190 million) €129,750,000. Bearing a resemblance to its namesake, the Roman emperor Nero, it is a fitting purchase for a Lord of the seas. Designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and launched in 2007, Alfa Nero was ranked 43rd in Boat International’s list of the world’s 100 largest yachts in February 2009 and is Lloyds classed and MCA compliant. It has a range of 6,630 miles at 16mph and reaches a top speed of 23mph.

The latest seating option for Business-class travellers on trans-Atlantic flights is designed in 1-2-1 herringbone with everything you need right at your fingertips, like the 12.1” adjustable touch-screen entertainment system, 110-volt universal power outlet, satellite phone and USB port to charge your laptop and a real-time world map to track your flight. Increased personal space features fully-adjustable seats that recline into a horizontal bed ranging from 6’4’’ to 6’8’’ depending on the Suite’s position in the cabin.  The Envoy Suite will make its debut on one of US Airways` Airbus A330-200 aircraft in December 2009 with the remainder of the A330-200 fleet installation completed by summer 2011 for a total of 15 aircraft. Each A330-200 will offer 20 Envoy Suites.

Architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars dedicated 6 years of his life to create this suspended slumber slab which hovers solely in the air by magnets. I think it was worth the time and effort considering it retails at $1.5 million. Ruijssenaars only needs that one luxury buyer wishing to impress his guests with this rare and intelligent piece of Architecture, to become a millionaire.

This is a somewhat magnificent example of crystals having the power, to make the most unglamorous of ablutions luxurious. The Swarovski toilet was designed by Jemal Wright from Florida, and has been available since 2008 for a pricey $75,000. It is just one of the many items available from the Isis Collection. However, one questions the practicability of ‘Cillit banging’ a crystal studded toilet. There is no questioning the sheer beauty of this bathroom centre piece, however the debate arises as to whether it would be on Paris Hilton’s shopping list or her Majesty the Queen’s.

Hermes has designed the Hermes Alligator Table Clock to showcase at the forthcoming Only Watch 2009 event; Only Watch is an auction event held every two years in Monaco during the Monaco Yacht Show in collaboration with Patrizzi & Co. Auctioneers. This year, 35 high watch making brands will each make a unique piece for the auction and all proceeds will go to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The Hermes Alligator Table Clock is made in stainless steel but covered with 12 layers of red Hermes leather hand stitched with natural white linen thread. The measurements are 175mm H x 150mm W x 37mm T; the clock is based on Swiss movements that allow an 8 day power reserve of caliber 51 which functions together with 15 jewels that beat at 18,000bph.
