TwinLuxe ‘Fine Shaving Instruments’ pair their expertly crafted razors and brushes with their own luxury men’s skincare line to offer out the best at-home shave possible.  Three different finished sets were all designed by the Rolls-Royce Phantom designer and suggest a masculine appeal, while including the hand-produced badger hair shaving brush. Made in Germany, the brushes aim to coat the beard hair and exfoliate the skin for the closest, softest shave.

Priced at $788, the Chrome edition is the classic of the three sets and has a mirror finish. Coated with a PVD coating, the Anthracite set has a charcoal finish, heavy-duty protection, and comes with a $1,088 price tag. The most expensive of the three ($1,588) is the limited produced Arctic Shaving Set. Composed of materials typically used in engine parts, the ceramic is produced in the US and is known for it’s high resistance to water.

Ralph Lauren has launched a new line of men’s fragrances called the Big Pony Fragrance Collection; the collection is inspired by the Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony polo shirts which has an oversized version of the iconic polo player motif. The L’Oréal group who are launching this frangrance collection together with Ralph Lauren describe the brand message behind the Big Pony Fragrance Collection as “Get in the Game”.

Each of the four fragrances in the collection has an individual message behind it;

Fragrance number 1 (sporty) is a citrus aromatic; the refreshing tonic features notes of lime and grapefruit “to propel men to victory”. The scent is presented in a blue bottle decorated with a green Big Pony player opposite a bold yellow number one.

Fragrance 2 (seductive) is an oriental fougere, It is described as a sexy mix of dark chocolate and musk. It addresses the challenge of love and the big play needed to “get the girl”. The fragrance is packaged in a red bottle, accented by a yellow Big Pony player and a green number two.

Fragrance 3 (adventurous) is a fougere woody. It contains mint and ginger root “to trigger an adrenaline rush” and aims to address the game of adventure and the challenge of the outdoors. This scent is presented in a green flacon, decorated with an orange Big Pony player and a blue number three.

Finally, fragrance 4 (stylish) is a woody fruity that offers an energizing boost of mandarin and kyarawood for a unique, stylish edge. The orange bottle is marked with a blue polo pony and a red number four.

The Big Pony Collection comes in 40ml, 75ml and 125ml eau de toilettes. A box set containing all four scents is available now, prices start from $50.

Marc Jacobs pulls out another stop on his self-branding world takeover. Featuring himself oiled up and naked on his latest cologne campaign may have been the single-most ingenious step in his young and powerful career.  Marc has always been hott, but now we know exactly HOW hott he really is! If this photo doesn’t sell men’s cologne, I don’t know what possibly could.

Explaining the thought process in featuring himself as the face of BANG, he places the credit with his business partner Robert Duffy. “Robert and I work closely with Coty on these projects, and he said, ‘Marc, you look so great now-you should model for the men’s fragrance.’ My immediate reaction was, I don’t know. But then I came to see that it made sense. Men’s fragrance, unlike women’s in a certain way, is very personal. It’s a layer on top of the skin-for women, it can be like changing a makeup color, but not for men.” Whatever the motives, good work Marc.
