T: The New York Times Style Magazine has acquired a new editor straight from the hands of Vogue, Sally Singer. Singer’s career with Vogue began in 1999 and ended with the position of fashion news and features director. Bill Keller, executive editor of the Times, reported Tuesday that Singer would begin her editor position in July. “We were looking for someone with the imagination and taste to envision the next generation of this extraordinary franchise, and the experience to make it happen.” Though holding an impressive position at Vogue, Singer never had the opportunity to outshine her colleagues, making T Magazine and excellent fit to showcase her talent and experience.
