The fashion industry has provided moviemakers with hit box office productions in past years. An inside look into the billion dollar businesses prove to be an entertainment hit with movies such as The Devil Wears Prada, The September Issue (the documentary featuring Anna Wintour and the production of Vogue) and even the Sex and the City movies. Adding to the list of fashion insider movies will be Valentino: The Last Emperor. Making its TV debut on Monday on BBC4, the film will give a glimpse into the marvelous life of Italian designer, Valentino Garavani. Behind the scenes shots of his personal life, entourage and the efforts that go into producing a line of Valentino, the film sparks the interest of fashionistas worldwide. Even if a viewer isn’t interested in the haut couture world, they may find themselves engrossed in the lavish life style this fashion mogul has created. From many vacation homes, celebrity connections, a 150-foot yacht, to the absurd amount of staff and puppies he travels nowhere without, this documentary film will leave viewers in awe, idolizing the life of this legendary fashion designer.
