Valentino, the fashion power-house, is introducing a new line of upscale tee-shirts that encapsulate the elegance of Valentino while aiming to steer the upscale collection in a more modern and accessible direction. Valentino CEO, Stefano Sassi, calls it “a reinterpretation of the brand” and the new lead designers, Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, wanted something that women could wear during the day.
However, these are not your average tees, made primarily of jersey, these “tee-shirts” are embellished with lace, sequins, embroidery and organza. Priced from $590 to $1980, these ”tee-shirts” have a much higher price tag than your average James Perse find.
Valentino boutiques are currently featuring 10 different styles with more to come each season. These gorgeously crafted and unique creations are already selling out, so make sure to stop by your local store and try on one of these tees with your favorite skinny jeans and peep-toe pumps.
