Luxury tipples don’t get much more authentic than this newly released Glengoyne 40 Years Old Highland Single Malt whisky priced at £3,750.

For the very first time in their 175 year history the respected Scottish distillery Glengoyne are offering up their oldest and most expensive whisky for discerning customers to buy.

The whisky itself has a complex flavour with notes of banana, spiced plums, honey and cereal with a soft finish of gentle woody oak.

What helps to make this Glengoyne 40 Years Old Highland Single Malt whisky a cut above the rest is the intricate detailing and effort put in to creating the bottle and display box.

The crystal bottles, of which there are only 250, are hand blown by a local Scottish artisan and feature gold engravings of the individual bottle number and an etching of the Glengoyne distillery. Whilst the presentation box is made from piano-finished solid oak wood which has been lacquered 11 times for maximum effect.

The Glengoyne 40 Years Old Highland Single Malt whisky is the perfect luxury gift for whisky lovers the world over and oozes sophistication, style and decadence.
