The 269ft Oceanco superyacht has been listed for sale via brokerage firm Edminston & Co for ($190 million) €129,750,000. Bearing a resemblance to its namesake, the Roman emperor Nero, it is a fitting purchase for a Lord of the seas. Designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and launched in 2007, Alfa Nero was ranked 43rd in Boat International’s list of the world’s 100 largest yachts in February 2009 and is Lloyds classed and MCA compliant. It has a range of 6,630 miles at 16mph and reaches a top speed of 23mph.

The ultra-luxurious yacht features over 4,000sq.ft. of living space, accommodating twelve guests spread between a master, two VIPs and three doubles. The illustrious master suite includes an office, dressing area, bathroom with steam shower and hot tub and a private outdoor patio with second hot tub. There are also fourteen double cabins for twenty-six crew members. With dramatic furniture pieces that resemble pieces of staghorn coral, the yacht has a Nuvolari & Lenard designed spectacular interior, fittingly evoking the sea.

One of the most notable features is the swimming pool on the main deck. Not only is it one of the largest ever built on a luxury yacht, but using hydraulics, the surrounding pool area can be converted into a dance floor, entertaining area or even a helipad.

The superyacht will be anchored off during the Monaco Yacht Show 2009.
