Middle class shopping haven John Lewis are making plans to increase sales in their fashion departments both online and in store.
One component of the strategy will be ‘luxury shops’ on the womenswear floors and it’s the Cardiff store that will be first to try the new idea out.
The luxury shop area is simple in layout and won’t have any defined footpaths so shoppers will be free to browse and uncover surprise fashion treasures. The shops will sell high end have clothes, bags and jewellery.
Will this work out for John Lewis or will luxury lifestyle lovers prefer their old haunts like Bond Street?
