It seems company Cineworld are benefiting from the credit crunch blues, as people are choosing to catch a film more often. Ironically Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire made Cineworld millions, as it made £31million nationwide. Admissions increased profit by 13% creating a total of £16million. Other money makers were Harry Potter, X-men 2 and the Terminator. Clearly, a day out at the pictures is a luxury we just can’t give up.
