Fashion designers Luella Bartley and Barbara Hulanicki and celebrated milliner Stephen Jones have been lined up to take part in this year’s Port Eliot Festival. With an emphasis on creative exploration rather than boozing and loud music, the design trio will be adding their garment-making skills into the mix.
At the event lucky festival-goers will be offered the possibility of having improvised outfits created exclusively by Bartley, Hulanicki and Jones. Founder Catherine St Germans revealed, “I am really excited that Stephen is coming to join in the party at Port Eliot Festival and will be working with Barbara and Luella in their tent to create one off spontaneous pieces.”
“Stephen is bringing materials from his workroom and fellow designers from the Dior studio in Paris will also be here, and will be helping him create his magic. It is incredible that you will be able to come to our festival and see these designers all in action. Our fashion line up at the festival this year is a dream come true for me!”
