Stella McCartneyAnimal-rights supporter Stella McCartney has introduce some furry Disney friends to her ad campaign for Autumn/Winter 2009. Layered on top of images of model Sigrid Agren, who is seen petting a live fox in one of the pictures, are Bambi the deer, Thumper the rabbit, Friend Owl, Flower the skunk, as well as numerous butterflies and bluebirds.

The campaign was shot in the woods of Worcestershire, England, by photographer Ryan McGinley, who is also booked to shoot Tilda Swinton’s much-hyped ads for Pringle. Designer Stella revealed, “I’m a huge Bambi fan, and the film reminds me of my mum. And we wanted to have some fun. The clothes in the campaign are looking quite fierce, and we wanted to contrast them with the innocence of Bambi.”

You can view the completed Disney-inspired campaign when it breaks as a double-page spread in the September issues of French, Italian and British Vogue.
