Jenny Krauss is a home furnishings designer who’s teamed up with Womens’ Cooperatives in Ayacuho, Peru to produce a unique range of products that not only look good but give back to those who need it.
These plush pillows are hand made by the women of Peru and feature a traditional Peruvian pattern and all of the local colours.
Priced at $150 for the large pillow and $120 for the small pillow, these pillows are something very special. Also notice that their design is somewhat reminiscent of the Kenzo home range!
According to Jenny Krauss’ website, bringing work to these women has affected their lives in a positive way, “Their creativity and craftsmanship is magnificent and the success of their venture has brought rewards of self-esteem and financial self-reliance.”
