If there is anyone who knows how to keep the crème de la crème on the brink of fashion it’s Dior. Known for their sparkling fine jewellery and lavish use of luxurious stones and gems, it’s no wonder that Dior shocks us again with something spectacular.
Their newest collection, “Kings & Queens”, brought to us by Dior Joaillerie, is leaving jewellery lovers speechless with dazzling eye-candy couture. The collection showcases bejeweled king and queen skulls- meant to be bought as a pair of pendant and ring – completely dripping in platinum and diamonds and sculpted from rare gems like opals, jade, quartz, and obsidian.
Designed to symbolize “eternity” and the long lasting lifetime of jewels, this collection has us breathing “forever love” for the gems that never diminish. The collection- as Vogue France commented- is a portrayal of how “we are temporary, the jewels we wear last through time and centuries.” If that isn’t a reason for these unique pieces to become a girl’s best friend, I don’t know what is. The price for a pair is still unreleased, but as the saying goes, if you have to ask the price, you can’t afford this level of luxury.
