Celebrating the one year anniversary of his LA store opening, designer Phillip Lim invited guests to join him for an evening of fashion and music. Those who were lucky enough to receive an invite arrived wearing head to toe 3.1. Phillip Lim, and as one of the industries rising talents, it is no surprise that stars such as Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell and Leona Lewis were eager to attend Vogue hosted event.
Whilst entertained by DJ’s Devendra Banhart and Myles Hendrik who played the sounds of Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson and Blondie, guests mingled and openly discussed what they feel is the reason behind Lim’s success.
Actress Rachel Bilson shared her feelings by proclaiming “I do like me some Phillip Lim. The fits are just phenomenal and he doesn’t hesitate to take chances with colors and fabrics…You just feel like you’re going to have fun wearing his stuff.” Later, the crowd was entertained by Duke Spirit, the English rock band who’s lead singer, Leila Moss, is one of Phillip Lim’s current muses.
