When the sun slowly sets on 10th September 2009, and the moon elegantly rises, British Vogue and its international sisters will bring together some of the industry’s biggest names in a global celebration of fashion.
The night which will benefit Crisis, a charity in aid of the homeless in the UK, is aimed to unite retailers and shoppers and acknowledge the role that fashion plays in all our lives.
Editors will be found roaming around the cities dishing out style advice and ideas, and celebrities will be making in-store appearances at the likes of Selfridges, Topshop and Prada. Furthermore, designers such as Alexander McQueen and Alexander Wang will be joining the festivities in London and New York (the latter of the two will be teaching Barneys New York shoppers how to strut their stuff down the catwalk).
T-shirts specially designed and limited to the event will be available in participating stores, and all proceeds will go to the charity.
