Aston Martin has joined forces with Toyota to produce a super small luxury car believed to be even smaller than BMW’s Mini.
The Aston Martin Cygnet will represent the chasis of the Toyota iQ city car, but will be trimmed in hand stiched leather from its England plant.
The car is expected to retail at about $30,000, a full $85,000 less than its cheapest current model.
The current economic climate has not dampned appetites for luxury products, but Aston Martin is demonstrating is desire to tap into a wider consumer base.
