The private members club WhyteGold has this week announced the approved application of its thrid member of royalty.

According to the company profile on CrunchBase.com, the exact details of its members are never disclosed to the general public. Hower, InsideLux can confirm that the member is from a Northern European country and is the second highest level ranked member of royalty in Europe to join the network.

WhyteGold Ltd is a London based operation and is the parent company of InsideLux and Inside Lux TV.

A late “musketeer” painting by Pablo Picasso sold for 7 million pounds ($11.5 million) at Sotheby’s last night as buyers looked for value in the contracted auction market for Impressionist art.

The 1969 work dates to a period late in Picasso’s life when he was obsessed with floppy-hatted swashbucklers and their Casanova lifestyles.

In this version, Picasso’s doppelganger stands before a velvety red backdrop in a yellow jacket. He holds a sword as if posing for an Old Master portrait.

Jaeger LeCoultre have created a limited edition of their Atmos Clock for British fashion house Dunhill.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Atmos Clocks are powered by slight changes in temperature needing no winding, electricity or batteries. A temperature change of one degree Celsius powers the clock for 48 hours. The clock’s spring oscillates only twice a minute instead of the average 300 times typical for a traditional wristwatch meaning the Atmos Clock uses 250 times less energy than a classic wristwatch.

This limited edition clock stands in a black varnished casing with a clear glass front; the casing is set on a black shelf with a tinted glass background that features art deco designs inspired by Dunhill’s iconic 1930s lighters and cigarette cases. The front of the shelf is inlaid with black stingray leather, a reference to Dunhill’s heritage in luxury leather. Inspired by regulators of former times; the Atmos Regulator displays hours and minutes on two separate dials. The movement, a Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 582 appears to be suspended in mid-air.

Only twenty eight of the Jaeger LeCoultre – Atmos Regulator for Alfred Dunhill will be made and will be available exclusively from Jaeger LeCoultre stores priced at $70,600.
